Walnut Tree Farm Shepherd's Huts. Beautiful, simplistic stays to leave the hustle and bustle behind
Welcome to Walnut Tree Farm. Our Shepherd's Huts, Gandalf and Hobbit are tastefully designed and furnished and come fully equipped for a relaxing stay. Set at either end of a five acre field, open the stable doors to views across open Somerset countryside. Woodstoves with complimentary wood keep you cosy and warm or spark up an outside fire under the stars.
A spotless compost loo is 25m away from your door and good showers are 150m away. There's a cool box for your perishables, pots, pans and cutlery and a two burner gas hob. Solar power provides the lighting and there are 12v sockets for charging your devices.
We can supply towels and bedding at an additional cost of £18 or you are welcome to bring your own. Campfire wood is £5 a barrowful.
The Huts are for couples or single occupancy.
Unfortunately they are not suitable for children or pets.
Minimum stay is two nights.
From £50 per night.
We try to make your stay here as peaceful as possible and welcome guests who love and respect everything about the countyside.

Gandalf
Couples come and cosy up in our Gandalf Shepherd's Hut. He's the larger of the two, ideal for longer stays. Light the woodstove, pop the kettle on and unwind. Open the stable door for beautiful views over far reaching countryside.
Hobbit
Ideal for couples on a romantic hideaway, cosy Hobbit Hut with double bed and log burning woodstove.
